Deb is a native of Berkeley, Illinois, and has been Office Manager since June of 2004. Before that, she was a band and choir director for 17 years in Geneva, IL. In her spare time, she likes to work out, read, walk, do crafts and home projects, and keep in touch with her family and friends. She plays flute with the West Suburban Symphony Orchestra, and she will occasionally play flute for church services and weddings. She has two grown sons who are full-time musicians with the US Army Field Band in Washington, DC. A former patient of Dr. Clare, she and Dr. Clare have been married since January of 2006, and they like to travel, watch movies, and watch the History Channel and reruns of old TV shows (done with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and currently working on Bob Newhart) together.
Brenda Gonzalez
Clinic Director
Brenda is from Plano, and she has three “amazing and gorgeous” boys that are her everything. Outside of work, she spends most of her time with her kids and family, and if she has any extra time after that, she likes to go out with friends, dance, listen to music and watch movies. She has an extensive medical background, and she has been a clinical assistant here since May of 2005. She was promoted to Clinic Director in August of 2007.
Karen Domantay
Treatment Coordinator
Karen has been with us for over 3 years. She is originally from Newfoundland, Canada, and she has been living in the U.S. for about 8 years. She is engaged, and she has 3 great children, Courtney, Colin, and Caden. They all keep her very busy. In her free time, she likes to bike ride, exercise, read, shop, and overall enjoy life.
Ashley Swan
Clinical Assistant
A native of various western suburbs of Chicago, Ashley enjoys longs walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets . . . just kidding! Actually, outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, and she likes to fish, camp, boat, and ride horses. She shares many horses with her family, and also enjoys playing with her Boxers -- Zoey, Bella, and Bailey. She also likes to read and spend time with her friends and family. She has quite a bit of medical training in her background, and she joined Dr. Clare and Team in August of 2007.
Patty Ortiz
Receptionist
Patty is originally from the Northside of Chicago, has been married for 18 years, and has four children: Nico, Melisa, Rosa, and Celeste. Her son attends Waubonsie Community College and is taking general studies. She loves going to the movies and watching movies at home. She enjoys shopping with her girls and sometimes an occasional date with her husband. She really enjoys a nice cup of Starbucks coffee ("That's my addiction!"). Patty has been with us for almost three years.
Julia Estrada
Clinical Assistant
Julie has been working for Dr. Clare for over one year while going to Waubonsie Community College. She will be transferring to Northern Illinois University this coming fall to study nutrition. She is also a patient of Dr. Clare. In her free time, she spends time with her family, and she likes to keep active.
Lydia Vargas
Clinical Assistant
Our newest addition, Lydia is the mother of two children. She grew up in Chicago, and she loves shopping, cooking, and eating with friends. She has over 10 years of dental experience, and she also likes dogs!
